LANGUAGE TRAINER (Native English Speaker)
(Central Visayas - CEBU CITY)
The Language Trainer is primarily responsible for the design and implementation of training programs for the development of the English Language skills of the Customer / Technical Service Representatives (agents). He/She is responsible for the monitoring, feedback and reporting of the proficiency of the agents during the spoken and written English training courses. The reports are used to determine additional training levels and needs of agents. He/She provides said training to new as well as tenured agents who may need refreshers / enhancements to address account requirements. In addition, he/she has other responsibilities related to recruitment and hiring as well as other language-based training activities and development needs of the company.
University degree, preferably a Bachelor’s degree in English or Education major in English or the equivalent
Must have at least one year of relevant English teaching experience preferably in the tertiary level or in a corporate training setting
Must have highly effective communication skills both written and oral
Ability to effectively evaluate English communication skills and language use of agents given the context of call center operations.
Ability to provide syntactic rules and explanations in dealing with the language and linguistics concerns of the company.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
